ABOUT OUR WORKSHOPS
In our workshops, we offer you an immersive journey into the captivating experience of glassblowing, where the alchemy of creativity meets the precision of craftsmanship, and molten glass is transformed into breathtaking works of art. Guiding you through this enchanting experience is Molten 1090's Creative Director, Laura Smith, a seasoned artisan with over 15 years of expertise in crafting beautiful glass lighting, art and sculptures, and her fabulous team of makers.
Laura's wealth of experience ensures you are in expert hands as she navigates you through each step of the glassblowing process in the hot shop. Roll up your sleeves, select from a vibrant palette of colours, and infuse your personal touch into your designs as you craft your own glass creation. Under our artisan's expert guidance, you'll learn to master the punty, blowing iron, jacks, glass tweezers, glass colours, and marver to create your own handcrafted glass pieces. In the run up to the festive season participants will get to make a paperweight and festive bauble which will be available to collect or be sent out to you after your workshop.
