Circular design is the impetus of Molten 1090s inaugural lighting collection.

On 17th May we are offering an extraordinary insight into our world of bespoke glass. Creative director Laura Smith and her team will be running demonstrations throughout the afternoon, talking through the newest collection, and providing a chance to see the pieces being made.

This event is the perfect opportunity for a rare glimpse into the journey of a hand blown glass product. We strive to share our circular by design ethos, forming the foundation of our brand, studio space, and product. Local production is fundamental within our structure, and we are delighted at another opportunity to share the journey of our glassware.

Demonstrations begin at 12pm, 12.45pm, 1.30pm, 2.15pm, 3pm, and 3.45pm. Each lasts around 30 minutes, followed by a Q&A. Ticket holders are welcome to attend any time of their choosing. All attendees with tickets will take home a piece of moltenware.

Please note 17th May is a ticketed event. Buy tickets here.

THE STUDIO

Our hand blown glass lighting and tableware are created in house at our East London studio. As well as housing a functioning studio for our team, it also doubles as a showroom. Our studio is the living, breathing core of Molten 1090.

We have furnished the space by reusing, reclaiming, and repurposing materials. When recycling is not possible, we look for handmade, sustainable and long-lasting mediums.

From our lime washed walls to the reclaimed teak countertop and ceramic sink, vintage cast iron shelving unit, the reclaimed interior of our studio reflects our circular design ethos, with an emphasis on sustainability.

Come explore our studio! Bask in the contrasting beauty of hotshop and showroom, and discover more about Molten1090!
